We will head straight into the heart of the marble basins to visit the "CAVA 177" open quarry;Â your private guide will talk to you about the history of marble, starting with the ancient Romans and ending in the middle of the last century, then, as we delve into the mining heartland, we will see and analyze new cutting techniques, new machinery and interact with the surrounding environment.
